About Funky Furniture

Funky Furniture is a small company specialising in unique handmade furniture. Each piece of furniture is a handcrafted, original design.

MDF and natural woods are used to create our furniture. MDF is a functional, flexible and economical material but where possible we use reclaimed woods and hardwoods to add character. Our aim is to create beautiful but practical furniture that is made to last.

Each piece of furniture can be personalised to an individuals taste. We feel there is more to furniture than a flat pack and this is why we interact with the customer to create a unique piece, matching their own requirements. For example clients can choose their own colour or wood finish.

Children can pick their favourite colour and have their name plaque added to create their fairytale bedroom. It's always nice to work on furniture where the client requires that personal touch. Funky Furniture is ideal for montessori, creches, playschool and preschool because its tough long lasting and well balanced.
